You can’t really set this value from inside Delphi, but it’s still easy to change. All you have to do is open the Properties dialog for your Delphi shortcut in Start Menu, Desktop or Windows (right click the icon and select Properties). In the Start In field enter the directory that you wish to be your new default project directory. Now hit “OK” and you’re all set!
